Based off what we have been discussing in class. Out of all the tools that we have used what AI tool will start to be used by professionals of the world and will these tools be overused and manipulated or will these tools be for more of a guidance?
Let’s talk about how Nvidia stock prices have plummeted after Trump basically blocked China’s AI chip Sales. What type of effect could this have on the future of AI in the US? Will this make it so that we are in a country to country “AI Race”?
Today I came across a breaking story about Nvidia, the chipmaker behind much of the technology powering AI today. For the first time, Nvidia announced plans to mass-produce its AI supercomputers entirely in the U.S., starting in Texas. Over the next four years, the company aims to invest up to $500 billion in U.S.-based AI infrastructure through various manufacturing partnerships.
This move marks a big shift toward bringing advanced tech production back to the U.S., potentially reshaping America’s position in the global AI race. But it also creates important questions: Should the U.S. be investing this heavily in AI infrastructure? And as we take on a leadership role in developing such a powerful technology, what ethical and strategic responsibilities do we carry in shaping its future?
Do you think people should use AI to write emails for them? I know this is becoming a common thing students and professors do. Or is this something that is not that big of a deal?
Throughout the semester, there have been a lot of ‘Let’s Talk About…’ discussing AI and art. Here’s my question- why aren’t artists copyrighting their styles? If the creator of the Ghibli style for instance could copyright his style, then what threat does AI pose to his art?
how will ai start to incorporate itself into new technologies like microwaves, ovens, al most anything digital.
I wonder what kind of applications we can use AI for in our normal lives, say for things we usually wouldn’t think about such as parenting.
This week I found it interesting to learn more about how we can utilize AI to help with deeper thinking when it comes to major problems. I also personally used chat gpt when I was staring a paper for another class to come up with some sources as a starting place for my research. Using chatgpt for sources was something I have tried previously but found it to provide fake sources so this update was really useful and interesting to utilize.
If AI creates a solution that humans don’t fully understand, should we still implement it?
If a student uses AI to brainstorm an idea that ends up turning into a startup or business, does the AI deserve any credit for that innovation?
With AI becoming more and more capable would it okay for schools to use AI tools like ChatGPT to grade assignments or watch students during tests?
I’m very interested in how we will combine the skills and tools we’ve learned this semester to tackle the You Are The Future Projects. It seems as if the process part of the project will reflect the skills we’ve built upon during the Method assignments then the final part will be a combination of that plus creativity.
On Miro, for the Humans+ Poster group project, next to the Process Starter is says (optional). I know the project is a booster if that is what that means, or does it mean that the process part of this project is optional, and we only have to do the poster and the presentation slides/presentation?
For our final project/assignment how long do we have for revisions if needed?
This is pretty random, but I just watched Back to the Future, and I think it could be an interesting talking point in class. If Doc Brown had access to modern AI, how might it have changed the way he built the DeLorean time machine—and what ethical dilemmas could arise if an artificial intelligence started predicting and altering timelines?
When looking at wicked problems in relation to AI, I wonder if AI has a higher chance of getting further towards a solution to the problems, or if humans have a higher chance because they bring more empathy towards the situation?
When AI becomes integrated with everything and humans use its input to aid almost every decision, should we put an age minimum on using AI? Wouldn’t constant use of AI for analysis from a young age hurt children’s ability to reason?
Has Grammar and Writing Gotten Worse Since AI? Ever since tools like ChatGPT became widely available, I’ve been wondering: Has K-12 grammar and writing actually declined because of all these AI tools. Will this decline in writing skills really matter if we always have generative ai at hand?
What do we think the total carbon footprint of this class is for the semester? I understand that AI requires a significant amount of energy to run… so, on average, what would we produce? I would love to conduct a poll on AI usage for each student and average the results to predict a more accurate number from my initially estimated prompt.

Thinking about the way Ai is having and using voice models now I am starting to think of the ways this could be used in ways people shouldn’t use them in. Such as scams, if you get a robot calling you generally you are able to tell that it’s not a real person. But now with the way some of these ai’s sound and respond you wouldn’t be able to tell whether they are real or not.
When I am writing a paper and I utilize an AI tool to help me write a sentence that sounds put together… For example “Write me a sentence about how a chaotic system is unpredictable and that adding more variability does not make it less chaotic in nature but rather adds to it” and I get a response of “A chaotic system is inherently unpredictable, and introducing additional variability doesn’t diminish its chaos but amplifies it, compounding the system’s complexity and erratic behavior.” Can I claim this as my own writing in something like a school essay? Is this mostly my writing?
AI is growing quickly, and it’s taking over many jobs that used to go to recent grads. If you’re just out of school, how can you keep up and find your place in today’s changing job market?
How can we best be a servant leader using AI? College has been a lot about how best to serve others, and if we can use AI to enhance our abilities, to what extent can we help others professionally and personally? Even as a classmate, is it simply about knowing as many resources as possible?
If generative AI can perfectly mimic anyone’s voice, face, or writing style, what does that mean for identity and consent in the digital world?
I came across an article titled “Are Em Dashes Really a Sign of AI Writing?” by Miles Klee, published on April 11, 2025. It discusses the belief that em dashes (—) are a sign of AI-generated writing, like ChatGPT. This idea is common on social media and in emails. While some people feel AI writing lacks personality, writers argue that em dashes have been used long before AI. Sometimes, professional writing is mistaken for AI because that is what AI is trained on.
Do you believe em dashes are linked to AI-generated work?
When identifying a Worldview, aren’t we also applying our worldview to interpret it? Is it possible for CLA to be truly objective?
What is the status and future for agentic AI? Is it available to the general public, and if so how do I set up these early versions myself?
How can AI help us reframe wicked problems rather than just solve them and what risks come with relying on AI to shape how we define these complex issues?
I’m curious what AI applications have reached ‘enlightenment’ in the Gartner hype cycles. What are your thoughts?
I have recently been investigating multi-modal programs as I think they would be beneficial to have a variety of AI Models on hand in one place. Do multi-modal services perform as well as a premium version of say ChatGPT? Is it more beneficial to have a Premium service and utilize a free multi-modal rather than paying for a multi-modal that has uses free or old versions of the other LLM’s?
What do you think about OpenAI developing its own social media platform to compete with X and Meta?
Lets talk about how we can consult with AI to invest in stocks and also give investing advise for your retirement. What are some of the legal and ethical aspects of that occurring.
I went to the Reds vs. Mariners game yesterday and it got me thinking about how much technology is involved in baseball now. Things like pitch speed, player stats, and defensive shifts are all influenced by data and advanced tools. It’s kind of wild how much goes on behind the scenes that most fans probably don’t even notice.
Can AI be used to enhance authentic human connection, or does it create a layer of artificiality?
With deepfake AI tech becoming more and more advanced, what is being done, and what can be done to prevent it from being used for harm?
Recently, something just came out about AI being used to analyze dolphin calls, similar to what we discussed earlier in the semester with elephants. I just thought it was super cool to see the advancements we are seeing. Who knows what animal languages we will be able to interpret in the next 5 years.
If AI can start thinking for itself, how will we know if it’s really aware or just following its programming?
Will AI begin to be used more in cold call sales or be able to make that area of work easier?
How can a group use AI models to help cooperate and create a cohesive central idea that everyone can agree on? Will AI give you a different solution outcome if it knows you have help from others or a group is giving it the task?
How do we prevent bias in AI when the training data itself may reflect societal biases?
love the content that we’ve talked about. I think that the evolution of chat gpt will eventually lead to the solution of a lot of wicked problems
If Ai achieves consciousness how would we deal with what government has rights to it and what we should and shouldn’t listen to as a society ?
Can AI help solve global challenges like climate change, poverty, or pandemics?
